Desired Candidate Profile
Dynamic individual to work in a well-established server
management company taking care of day-to-day server management tasks
and troubleshooting as well as software installations and server
monitoring. Must be comfortable working both alone on solo projects
and within a closely knit team.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (2000/2003/SBS) & MS
SQL 2000/2005, MS Exchange and Server Security. Knowledge of web
server (IIS5.0/6.0, .NET Framework, Tomcat) is required. Knowledge
of any scripting language and Linux experience would be considered
as an added advantage.
Experience of managing servers in Internet environment in addition
to one or more relevant certifications like MCP, MCSE & MCDBA etc.
is essential. Exposure to DNS & Hosting Control Panels (Plesk, Ensim,
Hosting Controller, Helm) would be desirable.
a) Troubleshooting Web server issues
b) Troubleshooting Mail server issues
c) Troubleshooting security issues
